Bear Paw Print Amulet Bag Panel
Bear Paw Print Amulet Bag Panel by Grandma Marilyn's Instant Access!
When my Bead Angel, Jan Hebert-Parmente, was beading up another bead pattern for this series, she said it made her think of a bear paw print. Upon looking at it further, I realized she was right so this series is now called the Bear Paw Print. There are only two patterns beaded up right now. This amulet bag panel and a big lighter cover.

The bear totem stands for strength, confidence, a warrior spirit and the courage to fight. It also stands for taking action or taking leadership. The bear totem also stands for healing of yourself and others. This healing can be in the form of emotional, physical or spiritual. There are other meanings for this totem with the Greeks, Romans and the Celts; but they are all basically the same.

You can use different colors to make this amulet bag fit any wardrobe.

The charm in the photo was beaded by my bead fairy and daughter, Angelique Metz.

Palomino Amulet Bag Panel
Palomino Amulet Bag Panel by Grandma Marilyn's Instant Access!
Do you love horses? Then this pattern is for you. This lovely palomino is created in odd count peyote. She was originally designed and beaded for a beaded quilt as a display of beadwork created by Texas Beaders, which never came about.

Once you complete the panel, you can create a beautiful amulet bag by creating another panel of this palomino, using the pattern with different colors for the horse, or a plain panel for the back. Just add some fringe and beaded chain and you are ready to go. You could also use it as a pendant for a necklace by adding a beaded chain to each end of the panel.

Black Dragon Amulet Bag Panel

Black Dragon Amulet Bag Panel by Grandma Marilyn's Instant Access!
This Black Dragon pattern is bold in it's black and white and makes a gorgeous beaded amulet or medicine bag. Add your own style of fringe and beads for a strap. Repeat the pattern for the back or use a solid bead color.

A couple of other suggestions for this dragon panel are to add a strap and make the panel a pendant; add a string of beads to the top to hang it on the wall with or without fringe for a wallhanging; or put it into a 3x5 frame with a mat and have a beautiful framed beaded dragon.

Use your imagination with different color combinations and come up with your own dragon amulet bag.

Rose Amulet Bag Panel by Grandma Marilyn's Instant Access!
You now have a choice of the Deep Red Rose or Yellow Rose Amulet Bag Panel.  Just choose from the drop down menu which one you would love to have.

DEEP RED ROSE:I love roses and this Deep Red Rose Amulet Bag came out just gorgeous. Want to say I love you to someone? The red rose meaning is "I love you". I also give you information to change the color of the rose if you want to.

This pattern was beaded up by my bead fairy, Penny Ripley, who used the finished piece as a suncatcher.

YELLOW ROSE:  Want to express platonic love or that you care for someone? The red rose meaning is "Friendship, Joy and Caring". Yellow roses were my mother's favorite flowers. Everytime I see them, I think of her. She passed away from Pancreatic Cancer back in April 2001.

This beautiful panel was beaded by my Bead Angel, Terri Ettling-Shell.

Sweetie Amulet Bag Panel
Sweetie Amulet Bag Panel by Grandma Marilyn's Instant Access!
I created this beauty as a memorial for my Dad's dog, Sweetie, who died in March 2010. She had been with my dad for 14 years. I made the background in blue because that is my Dad's favorite color.
